The Cumberland has partnered with Xero Accounting Software to help you manage your accounts

HOW IT WORKS

If you have a Cumberland Business current account you can sign up for the Xero direct bank feed and have your transactions sent automatically to your Xero account, every working day. This will give you an up to date view of your financial position and save you time reconciling your accounts

Your data is sent using an encrypted connection directly between the Cumberland and Xero. No other third parties are involved

Cumberland business current accounts and business savings accounts can be sent in the direct bank feed
Fees
Unlike some other banks, the Cumberland doesn’t charge you for using this service. You may have to pay subscription fees to Xero
The App
Using the Xero app, businesses have all their financial data at their fingertips with the ability to reconcile any accounts as well as create smart reports and invoices

SETTING UP

A simple sign up process with Xero provides the authority for The Cumberland to send business banking and business savings account transaction information direct, every working day. Businesses can also provide their accountant or bookkeeper with access to financial information via the online interface, allowing them to work together with their accountants to closely manage financial performance
How long before I start to receive the feed?
Once you’re set up, your transactions will appear in Xero every working day morning (Monday – Saturday) for as long as you want to receive them
What about historical transactions?
Transactions from before you had the feed in place won’t be sent to Xero, you’ll need to input these manually
How do I start using the direct bank feed?
Setting up is simple – just visit the Xero website
