The Cumberland is celebrating after being named as the best large business at the in-Cumbria awards last night.

Susan’s Farm is a unique and inspiring organisation based in the north of Cumbria. Founded by its passionate owner Susan Aglionby, the farm has made a big impact in our region.

We were excited to work with James Rennie School as they launched their first school bank, as part of our wider mission to help more young people learn about real-world finance. James Rennie is a school for pupils aged 13-19 with severe or profound learning needs, based at Kingstown in Carlisle.

Based in Egremont, Calderwood House is an inspiring, award winning emergency homeless hostel which provides accommodation for up to 11 people.
