Glossary
We know some of the terms we use above can be confusing, therefore we have created this handy guide to help you understand what these services do and how the outage might impact you.
Our Internet Banking, is what you would usually use on a laptop, computer or tablet in a web browser to view and transact on your account. You will either have saved a link directly to it, or you will go to our website to access it.
The Mobile App, is usually what you will use to manage your account on your smartphone or tablet.
Open Banking allows you to share your account or payment information with a third party app or provider. Outages to our Open Banking will mean your accounts might not be up to date with the third parties you use and you can’t register with a new provider until after the outage.
Your Cumberland debit card allows you to withdraw cash, check your balance or change your PIN at any LINK branded ATM across the country. You can find your nearest ATM here.
Your Cumberland debit card is a Visa Debit card meaning it can be used to purchase goods and services in stores, shop online or pay for something anywhere that accepts Visa Debit.
When you open an account with us, the systems we use are called Savings Apply and Current Apply. During the maintenance window, you can’t open an account online from our website or via Internet Banking.
